Has turned into a pretty tough second basemen and good basehitter. Likes to drink a lot of beer.
LAWRENCE (JOBBA) SENA # 33
POSITION: OUTFIELD
Jobba is a tough reliable outfielder with good power and placement at the plate. Jobba is a man of many talents, he is the lead singer for Sour Mash, a dj, teacher, and most recently a family man.
MIGUEL TRUJILLO #00
POSITION: SHORTSTOP, 3RD
Tough infielder who has been known to stop balls with his body, good basehitter. Likes to party and live life on the edge.
MARTY (Flounders) MADRID #62
POS: 1ST BASE
Good power at the plate, and a good glove at first. Usually plays ball with a mean streak, so watch out.
ROMIE MAESTAS # 11
POS: 1ST BASE, OUTFIELD
Power hitter with a good glove. First lizzard to ever hit a homerun. Grew up in a bar so you know he knows how to slam frosties. When his cap turns sideways its all over.
CHARLES GARCIA # 7
POSITION: PITCHER
Tough hitter with good power and excellent placement. Very good pitcher.
(NOTORIOUS) GIB ROMERO (#69)
POSITION: WHEREVER
Gibs favorite hobby is surfing on Rv's. He will play anywhere and is getting better at the plate. Has the potential to be a porn star.
MANUEL (MANGO) MARTINEZ #55
POSITION: CATCHER
Mango used to just be here for the beer has turned into a good catcher and hitter, seems to get better every year. Likes to party but always stays mellow.
JOHN MAESTAS # 24
POSITION: OUTFIELD
Fast outfielder with a good glove and basehitting ability. One of the youngest lizzards but he can guzzle beer like a veteran.
MARIO (Modzilla) TRUJILLO #54
POSITION: OUTFIELD
Good utility player, will play wherever he is needed and has a reliable stick.
ANDREW SENA #40
POSITION: OUTFIELD
Probably the lizzards best all around player.Has a good bat with power and base hitting ability, and an excellent glove.
GREG MARTINEZ
POSITION: WHEREVER
Good bat and glove when he shows up. Known for his love of shotgunning beers.
GENE CHACON # 34
POSITION:INFIELD,OUTFIELD
Gene just came out of retirement. In order to get back on the team he has to do a 500 page essay on why he wants to be a Lizzard.
PAUL CHAVEZ
Youngest lizzard. Doesn't drink, and doesn't need to drink, rowdy enough already. Has yet to see a pitch he doesn't like
DREW QUINTANA
POSITION: HERE FOR THE BEER
Provides inspiration in the dugout, and provides concert information and wrestling tapes.Drew is the team barber and is also the drummer for Sour Mash.
ANDRES (LURCH) NIETO (#66)
Lurch is semi-retired he will only be playing in tourneys. Known as the big bambino due to his monstrous homeruns.
VIDAL TRUJILLO (#42)
Vidal moved out of town might play for tourneys.
MARK CHAVEZ
Mark retired to pursue his football careeer.
ARTHUR (CHIPPY) GONZALES
Chip is in retirement. Chose to retire after giving up 20 homeruns in one inning.
PAUL (SPLANCH) SANCHEZ
Another retired Lizzard.
PAT MAREZ
Used to play with the Lizzards for tourneys,has since left the country.
RICCO CHAVEZ
Ricco left town a long time ago but is still considered an honorary Lizzard, and we look forward to his occasional visits.
CISCO CHAVEZ
It's been a long time since this guy has suited up for the lizzards, but he is still considered a Lizzard. Best known for his impersonation of Bambi in the outfield. Currently in the army, stationed in Hawaii.
DELANO CHAVEZ
New pickup. Tough shortstop with good basehitting ability.
LUCIANO MONTOYA #11
Outfielder with blazing speed, and a good bat and glove.
BOBBY VILLANUEVA #15
New recruit for 2001. Infielder with a good glove and arm. Hits the ball well.
REMI CORDOVA #20
Backup pitcher and catcher. Pretty decent at the plate. Only knock on this guy is that he drinks Coors Light.
